Speakers and attendees gathered for the Plenary Session at the Asian Law and Society Association 2024 Annual Meeting, including an opening address by ALSA President Yoshitaka Wada, Professor at Waseda University, and a keynote speech by Professor Chulwoo Lee of Yonsei Law School on “Charting the Uncharted: The Early Days of the Critical Law and Society Movement in Korea.”

Celebrating a successful conclusion to the Asian Law and Society Association 2024 Annual Meeting, including the book and articles awards as well as reflections by Sarah Biddulph, Director of the Asian Law Centre at Melbourne University, on “How Law Really Matters: Contributions From Young Law and Society Scholars.”
